League Forms
Please use the following forms below for the 2011 season. If there are any
questions about the forms, please call your league representative.
2012 League Roster Form: Save this file to your computer and type
your roster and e-mail back to info@avlbaseballl.com. Players should be in
alphabetical order by last name. DOWNLOAD FILE (Coming Soon)
2012 Player Participation Contract: Please fill out and return to your league
representative. DOWNLOAD FILE (Coming soon)
2012 Registration Instructions
Team Registration:
1. Registration Fee is $2,500 (Includes 3dz. baseballs)
2. Typed 2012 League Roster Form
3. Complete 2012 Player Participation Form for each player on the Team's Roster
Individual Registration"New Players without a Team" :
1. Players will be drafted based on information provided. The Asheville ABL
can not guarantee every player will be drafted during the 2012 season.
2. The league is now 18 and over. Teams are only allowed to have 3 players between the ages of 18 and 24 for the 2012 season.
Player age requirements
-Players become eligible on their 18th birthday.
-25 year old players age will be based on the calendar year. You are eligible if you turn 25 by Dec. 31. The cut off year is 1987 for 25+ players.
Player Restrictions
-Players can not be in high school
-Players can not be an active college player (Any division)
-Restrictions for ex-pro players (see coach)
3. Please send an e-mail to info@avlbaseball.com with the following
information:
a. Subject Heading should read, "New Player"
b. Name, Contact Number, E-mail address, Address, and if you would be
interested in coaching a team.
c. Tell us a little about your past baseball experience, What is your main and
secondary position? What was your highest level of Baseball played?
d. Please include any other information or comments you may want addressed.
4. Fees will vary based on which team you are drafted on. Typical charges range
from $150 to $200 per player. Uniforms are not part of your team fee.
5. Keep checking the website for further information about a possible
registration day.
Important Dates for 2012
Regular Season: June 24, 2012
Deadline for Team Deposits: June 1, 2011
Deadline for Team Rosters: June 22, 2011
Deadline for Remainder of Team Fee w/out Penalty: July 14, 2011
